Last Sunday (May 24, 2009) saw the end of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket championship which had to be moved to South Africa due to security concerns (as it coincided with the Indian elections). The stars of the show were definitely the players but coming a close second were ZooZoos - odd-looking characters created by a Malayali (from Kerala) filmmaker Prakash Varma for Vodafone.
